We started our ISO 9001 program at the beginning of 2026 with the help of an outside quality consultant, and chose PRI as our Quality Management System registrar. After a Stage 1 audit in the spring, we completed our certification audit on September 29–30, 2026.

Quality has always been at the core of how we work. Building a formal ISO 9001 system lets us document our processes, measure our performance, and keep improving the way we serve our customers. We’ll share an update here when our certificate is issued.

Protecting our customers’ information is as important to us as the quality of the parts we build. We’re actively implementing the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 requirements, which the Department of Defense mandates to safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

We’re using Exostar’s tools to put the required security controls and practices in place across our operations, and we’re making steady progress through the rollout. Customers who’d like to see where we stand can ask us for a visual status update at any time.

Our welders’ qualifications are the foundation of every weld we deliver. We track the certifications held by each fabricator on our team, and the full list is available on request. We follow a systematic process for accuracy:

• Certification database: a central record of every welder’s certifications

• Standard operating procedures: clear steps for recording, renewing and verifying certifications

• Expiration monitoring: renewals are tracked so no certification lapses

• Physical documentation: hard-copy records kept on file

• Regular audits: periodic reviews confirm our records are complete and up to date

We take the protection of defense-related technical data and materials seriously. We’ve put internal controls in place to prevent unauthorized access to controlled materials, supported by the security practices we’re implementing as part of our CMMC Level 2 program.

We’ve also set up a dedicated, access-controlled ITAR room in our facility, so controlled drawings, data and parts are handled and stored securely. Details are below.
